With a contagious smile and charming personality, Brian Fisk is sure to steal your attention with his heart-felt lyrics and impacting melodies. As a singer/songwriter and producer from small town Sikeston, Missouri, Brian Fisk is rapidly making a name for himself in the Nashville community.

Since he was about ten years old, Brian has had a passion for music and dreamed of writing the songs they played on the radio. “I would create parodies of my favorite songs and sing about things that meant a lot to kids like Pokemon cards and recess,” chuckles Brian. His passion for songwriting matured around the age of fourteen when his grandpa bought him his first guitar. “ I can remember being upset because I knew he spent a lot of money and I was not interested in learning to play it,” says Brian, “the obligation to learn made me fall in love with that guitar”. Brian taught himself how to the play the guitar and piano at a very young age, proving that he has a natural, God-given talent.

With a variety of influences like Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Alan Menken, Randy Travis and Elton John, Brian claims, “a great story is the perfect foundation for a great song”. Brian’s songs reflect his faith in God and experiences that have had a strong impact on his life. His songs not only deliver a meaningful message, but their laid-back approach tends to put the audience at ease. “I believe I have a connection with people when they see me play or hear my music,” says Brian, “ it makes them feel as if they've known me for years”.

Brian moved to Nashville following his high school graduation where he studied songwriting at Belmont University. Since his transition, he has joined ASCAP and NSAI to generously focus on writing and strives to perfect himself as a singer/songwriter. He released his first CD in the summer of 2010 entitled, “South on 55”. Brian produced and wrote each song on the CD while playing most of the instruments. Just a few months later, he released a Christmas single, “It’s That Time”. Both his CD and single are available have been successful on iTunes. In the summer of 2011 he began work with producer Daniel Dennis on a new 5 song EP available on iTunes. When asked about his new project Brian said, "We really stepped it up with this new album and brought my music to new heights." Brian can be seen regularly around Nashville playing in venues such as: The Listening Room, The Rusty Nail, Hotel Indigo and many others.

“In a town full of talented people it's important to know who you are and what makes you special.”
